The Bruno Mathsson Prize 2008 is awarded to Anna Kraitz with the following motivation:
Anna Kraitz follows her own path with strong artistic intuition. She creates her own freedom too by meticulously studying potentialities and subsequently taking responsibility for them by acting as entrepreneur. There is always a humorous dimension to her assured, and often surprising, sense of form and function.
